文章大意＆心得
加拿大和美國西北部近幾日正面臨史無前例的高溫。在本週二，加拿大西南部小鎮Lytton甚至因為氣溫飆升到49.6℃ (121.3℉)，導致熱浪來襲發生火災，該村庄居民不得不逃離家園避難。
週三時，溫哥華地區的村莊在僅15分鐘內被火焰吞沒，許多居民也都迫使離家求生。如此極端的氣候變化，專家表示日後頻率不減反增，也許緣由是全球暖化但就單一事件來說很難去評斷。
Tina看到新聞中開頭的影片，觸目驚心。大火燃燒激烈，若獨家老人或是行動不便者無人可協助撤離家園，後果不堪設想。新聞也表示一周內因為高溫導致喪命者已達700多例，看了十分痛心。
想起前幾日另一篇新聞和全球暖化也有所關聯，加州乾旱，因此出現半世紀來的水位低點新紀錄。

Main Idea & My Thoughts
Canada and the northwestern of United States are facing unprecedented high temperatures in recent days. On Tuesday, small town- Lytton which is in southwestern of Canada even suffered the fire caused by the heatwave. Because the temperature soared to 49.6°C (121.3°F) in Lytton, and residents had to flee their homes.
On Wednesday, villages in the Vancouver were engulfed by flames in just 15 minutes. And many residents were forced to leave their homes to survive as well. Experts said that the frequency of such extreme climate change will not be decreased but increased in the future. Perhaps the reason is global warming, but it’s difficult to judge in terms of a single event.
Tina was shocked when I saw the video in this news, the fire was burning fiercely in this clip. If no one assists the elderly or people with disabilities to evacuate, the consequences will be disastrous. The news also said more than 700 people are died due to the high temperature within one week. It was very upset to hear this.
This also make me to recall another article I read few days ago. A new record in the past half a century was appeared, the drought in California, is also closely related to global warming. We will never know when will the accident come. Treasuring this moment, saving energy and loving the earth together is the best way we can do now. 🌍🌎🌏
