文章大意＆心得
二十世紀下，中國即致力於保育象徵其國寶的動物 – 大貓熊。長期努力投入保育工作下，終於讓其在野外的數量達到1800隻以上。因此也使貓熊保育等級從「瀕臨絕種」降級至「易受傷害」（Tina 有研究一些資料做了簡單的保育等級表格，親估可以參考下圖）
中國人民對於此消息感到十分歡喜，此證明大家這幾年來的保護工作是有效且值得的。但一些專家對於此降級有不同的看法，覺得這可能會造成一些人誤以為可以稍微放慢步調、放鬆在此一塊保育工作上。
Tina 看了其他篇新聞報導，中國會以贈送國寶熊貓來表示友好的外交關係，其曾贈送給日本、美國。而在2008年底，中國也送台灣兩隻大貓熊團團和圓圓。
在2013年時，圓圓還生下了可愛的寶寶 – 圓仔。今年7月6日是圓仔八歲的生日，台北市立動物園還幫牠準備了特製生日蛋糕為牠慶生。

Main Idea & My Thoughts
Second half of the twentieth century, China has devoted to the animal conservation. Which is symbolizes the national treasure, giant panda. After long-term efforts in conservation efforts, the number of panda in the wild has finally reached more than 1,800. Therefore, the conservation level has been downgraded from “endangered” to “vulnerable” (Tina has studied some reports and made a simple conservation level table. Please find the table above)
Chinese people are very delighted when they read this news, what proves that the protection work done by everyone in the past few years is effective and worthy. However, some experts have different views on this decision. Because they feel that this may cause some people to misunderstand that they can slow down and relax in the conservation work.
Tina read other reports that China sometimes presents its giant pandas to countries to show its friendly diplomacy, which has been presented to Japan and the United States before. At the end of 2008, China also gave Taiwan two pandas, Tuantuan and Yuanyuan. In 2013, Yuanyuan gave a birth to a lovely panda, Yuanzi. July 6 2021, which is Yuanzi’s eighth birthday. Taipei Zoo prepared a special birthday cake for it.
