文章大意＆心得
新冠肺炎病毒因應各變異株，WHO已決定並公布以發現的順序排列改稱英國變異病毒株「B.1.1.7」為Alpha、南非變種病毒「B.1.351」為Beta、巴西變種病毒「P.1 」為Gamma、印度變異株「B.1.617.2」為Delta。
而近日各國家數據統計發現，Delta 病毒的傳染力比在英國發現的 Alpha 變異株高 60%，而且Delta 病毒導致英國國內近兩個月來染疫人數激增。
其他國家是否也有因為變種病毒而又產生另一波的疫情高溫情況，目前尚未得知。研究員表示也可能因為英國擁有先進的基因排序測試儀，也積極地在篩檢各染一的人所以才會得知國內Delta 病毒散播如此迅速。
Tina 看另篇6/19的新聞，世界衛生組織表示，Delta 病毒已成為全球COVID-19流行的主要病毒株。在現在病毒變種越來越強的情況下，我想大家只能乖乖戴好口罩、非必要不外出旅遊甚至購物。
然後最好是可以讓全球的人民都能有疫苗可以施打，才能保障大家健康的度過這個21世紀的災難。
Main Idea & My Thoughts
Due to various variants generated, WHO has decided and announced the British variant virus renamed “Alpha”, the South African variant virus renamed “Beta”, the Brazilian variant virus renamed “Gamma” and the Indian variant renamed “Delta”.
According to recent statistics from various countries, the infectivity of Delta virus is 60% higher than the Alpha virus. And Delta virus caused infected people sharp increased in UK in the past two months.
We don’t know whether other countries also have another wave due to Delta virus. Infectious disease specialist said that it may because UK has advanced genetic sequencing system and UK is actively testing potential infected people. So that’s why they discovered Delta virus is spreading so quickly in domestic.
Tina read another news on June 19. The World Health Organization stated that Delta virus has become the dominant variant strain in the global COVID-19 epidemic. With the current virus variants getting stronger and stronger, I think the thing everyone can do is wearing masks correctly and not traveling or even going shopping excluding necessary.
Then, it is best to let everyone all over the world inject the vaccines. Hope that we can survive healthily during this 21st century disaster.
