文章大意＆心得
一名傑出的荷蘭犯罪記者於7月6日走出位在阿姆斯特丹的攝影棚不久後，即遭人當街開槍射殺。經過幾日搶救宣告無效，家屬於15日聲明德弗里斯已經不幸身亡。
公開的聲明裡表示，弗里斯一直秉持著自己的信念到最後，『屈膝是無法獲得自由的 On bended knee is no way to be free 』，也同時惋惜失去了這麼一位優秀的記者。
閱讀完本篇報導，Tina很欽佩犯罪記者、戰地記者等，明知所勝任的職位是如此的高風險，但卻依舊不退縮。記者也分成許多類，這些人卻願意堅持自己的信念呈現最真實的報導給大家。不管遭受多少死亡威脅，還是不屈服，努力把工作做到最完美的那一面，十分令人感動！
Main Idea & My Thoughts
An outstanding Dutch crime journalist was shot in the Amsterdam city center street after he walked out of the TV show studio on July 6. After several days of rescue, the family declared that Peter R de Vries died on 15th unfortunately.
The public statement stated that Peter has always insisted his conviction until the end, “On bended knee is no way to be free”, and we regretted the loss of such an excellent reporter.
After reading this report, Tina really admires those crime reporters, war reporters, etc.. Those who are knowing that the position they work for is such a high-risk activity, but they still don’t flinch. As we know reporters are also divided into many categories, but these people are willing to follow their beliefs and present the most truthful reports to everyone. No matter how many death threats they received, they still don’t succumb and work hard to achieve the perfect article. What a touching thing it is!
